Funeral Service: Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City.
A Reception: Will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Melstone Community Center.
James Carroll Seibert passed away February 10, 2010 surrounded by family and friends.
He was born August 26, 1946 to Margaret Carroll Seibert and Harry Seibert in Minneapolis, MN. After serving a tour in the army, he graduated from Eastern MT College with a bachelors in English. He loved writing and public speaking. One of his favorite hobbies included being rodeo announcing. He had 4 children with his first wife Joan Schottle. He was always on the move and always had a route of errands to run which he referred to as making the loop. He had many a career including KOA, real estate, insurance, and most recently selling cars at Notbohm Motors in Miles City. He spent 16 years in Miles City with his wife and friend Barb Bark Stoler. He spent his time tending his horses, or whipping up meals and feeding a crew. He left this world with many friends, all with a funny story to tell. He loved his kids, and his grandkids were his pride and joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Margaret Seibert, and his foster father Harold Hougen.
He is survived by his wife Barbara (Stoler) of Miles City, MT, his children Jamie Seibert of Billings, MT, Jeffrey (Sarah) Seibert of Broomfield CO, Jennifer Seibert of Phoenix, AZ, and Justin Seibert also of Phoenix, AZ, 4 grandchildren, Tori, Aidan, Jackson, and Avery and his beloved pup Scooby. Also, his surrogate family, Hazel Hougen, Tommy and Helen Hougen, Kathy and John Eike, Terry and Greg Dorow, Gail and Paul Thompson, and Glen and Jeanne Hougen.
Dad, your sense of humor will be sorely missed. We love you. Youve made the loop!
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miles City. Burial will be held at later date. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements
