James Walter Jim Sterhan, age 51, of Miles City formerly of Bozeman passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at his home in Miles City.
Jim was born on February 28, 1955 in Glendive, Montana, the son of Walter and Maxine Margaret (Ennis) Sterhan. Jim attended schools in Miles City and graduated from Custer County District High School in 1974. He attended college in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He was an aircraft mechanic and worked at Rockwell International in Palmdale, California where he worked on B-1 Bombers. He later worked in Seattle for Boeing before moving to Bozeman where he worked construction. Jim moved to Miles City in 2000 where he was a clerk at the Olive Hotel.
Jim is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann (Chris) Davis of Great Falls, MT; a brother, William (Marcia) Sterhan of West Lake Village, CA; and two sisters: Gloria (Don) Stueck of Bozeman, MT and Jaki (Ben) Lindeman of Bozeman, MT, his lifelong friend, Jeff Virag and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
