    Patty, Sherri and grand children,
I loved Ivan like a father which is what he was to me after my Dad passed away. I loved to tease with him at the Big Sky Mine. I was so thankful for all of his help building a hay storage, helping to skirt two of my trailerhouses and so many more projects. Patty was always there handing him whatever tool he was about to ask for. They knew what each other needed before it was even asked. My heart in breaking as I know yours is too. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

    Dad,

I am so sad that you have passed from this earth..but knowing that you are at peace is a comfort and a blessing, for I know I will see each other again, and we will know each other on sight..Even after all the years that have passed between us I still held respect for the fact that you are my father..I so wish that the circumstances could have been different for us..but I accept things for what they are..I gave you two grand children whom you never got to meet…Christina B Sansom 32 yrs of age and Jason L Richardson.. 37 yrs of age..as for me I am 57 yrs of age . I ask that God keeps you safe until such day that we can be together again.
I offer my sympathy and compassion for Patty and family
    Love Your Oldest Daughter,
    Joyce

    June 2, 2015 at 10:42 pm

    Dear Patty and family,
It is June 2, and I see the CPRD site reference to the passing of Ivan. I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Our son worked with him at the golf course for a couple of years back around 2000. He taught Keith a lot about caring for equipment, good work ethics, and they had a good frienship. Life moves us apart from each other, but Keith had lots of respect for Ivan and had a soft spot in his heart for Him, too.
“THANK YOU! Ivan for the positive influence you had in our lives.” It looks as if you touched many people’s lives by the many submitted notes.
Patty, may God be with you through the time ahead as you miss the ” Love of your life.”
