Interment: will follow in the Eastern Montana State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors provided by VFW Post #1579
James Jim Ray Thibault, age 62, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at his home of a heart attack in Miles City.
Jim was born March 27, 1945 to Floyd Ray and Irene Myrtle Hanks Thibault in Miles City, Montana. He attended local schools graduating from Custer County High School.Jim entered the US Army where he served in Thailand. Upon his honorable discharged, he returned home to Miles City until his death. Jim was an entrepreneur of many things, some successful and some not so. He started Jims Custom Tree Trimming Service which he ran for several years. He also worked for Bob Phair at Roundup Powder, Jims Rotilling and at Wal-Mart.
He is survived by his sister Janice Clendenen of Miles City and her children; Candi Clendenen of Billings, MT; Casey Clendenen of Miles City, and Christine Reed of Billings, his great nephew Kasey Reed. His brother Conrad Thibault of Forsyth and his children; Lt. Col Angela (Mark) Thibault Woods of New York and their son Ray Woods, Cheri Lynn (Tom) Quintrell and their children; MacKenzie, Joshua, Hunter James, and Ethan of Missouri, Wendy (Sean) Summers of Columbus and their children Tyler and Kylee. Jim is also survived by the Boardwalk and McDonalds Families and a very special life long friend Susie Whitaker Ferrall of California.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Irene, his brother Lynn Thibault in 1994, a great nephew Craig Mendenall in 2003, his grandparents Ed and Ruth Hanks, and Andrew and Mabel Thibault, and Uncle Don Thibault, Orville Hanks, Russell Hanks and an Aunt Lucille Thibault.
Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City has been entrusted with the arrangements. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
