Jenell Edna Little Coyote, age 37, passed away on December 5th 2025. She was born on November 24th 1988 at Crow Agency on Thanksgiving Day in a snow storm to Olympia Little Coyote and Thomas “Ivey” Timber. Jenny grew up attending schools in Missoula and a couple years at Lame Deer Public School. She was only a couple credits short of obtaining her high school diploma from Big Sky High School but she decided to start working. Jenny worked as a housekeeper at several hotels while trying to make it on her own. She was in a relationship for many years where she cared for two boys as her own, Avery and Cadence. She loved these boys very much and they always kept a special place in her heart. Jenny had a great smile and loved to laugh. She had many friends that filled her life with good times and good stories. She called zootown and muddy crenshaw home. Jenny faced many hard times growing up and in 2013 she lost her mom Oly. This was an extremely tough loss for her she was no longer the same person afterwards. Jenny loved music, mostly R&B, hip-hop, and rap. She was a fan of the Montana Grizzlies and Denver Broncos. She was an animal lover having had many cats and dogs she treated as family members. Jenny loved and believed in Jesus Christ.
Jenell is preceded in death by her mother Olympia Little Coyote; brother Rueben Freemont; grandmother Dolly Erlyce Little Whirlwind; grandfather James Francis Little Coyote; aunts Paulette Wilson, Jeanette Hunstalong; uncles Mervin Little Coyote and Justin Huntsalong.
Jenell is survived by her father Thomas “Ivey” Timber; sister Danielle (Eric) Greybull; brother Tre Freemont; adopted sons Avery and Cadence Ketron; grandmothers Marcelline Shoulderblade, Theda and Clara Harris, Mina Seminole; aunts Mellissa Ontiveros, Edina (Brian) Redstar, Ethel Brady, Maxine Limberhand, Maureen Byrant, Darlene Limberhand, Martha Sue Little Whirlwind, Malinda Harris Limberhand, Janelle (Brian) Jones, Stella (Damson) Ortega, Misty (Kayt) Timber, Tina and Charlene Little Oldman; Uncles Tyrone Little Coyote, Jordan Little Whirlwind, Jeff (Rebecca) McDonald, Howard Ontiveros, Allen Ray Little Coyote, Maurice Limberhand Jr, Joe Limberhand, Eric, Cletis and Larry Lockwood, Arvey Little Whirlwind, Eric (Brenda) Timber, Pascal Shoulderblade, Clayton Whiteman, Park (Sherri) Timber; Cousins Vince (Samantha) Wilson, Johnny McDonald, Herschel, Torrie, and Sherese Little Coyote, Emaysha, Kessa, and Tana Little Whirlwind. Numerous Nieces & Nephews.
Extended families include Little Coyote, Little Whirlwind, Walksalong, Little Bird, Stands in Timber, Shoulderblade, Bixby, Onebear, Yellowrobe, Wolfname, Redneck, Whiteman, Russell, Yellowfox, Two Bulls, Whitecrane, Seminole, Hart and Bites
Jenell aka Jenny aka Jennay aka Jenny poo had many more cousins and friends that were important to her, too many to name. We thank you for being a part of her life.
