Janice F. Krausz, age 72, of Miles City, MT passed away at the Holy Rosary Extended Health Care in Miles City on November 27, 2010.
Janice was born on May 20, 1938 in Glendive, MT the daughter of Frank A. and Naoma (Glasscock) Eaton. She attended elementary school at Clear Creek and Dawson County High School. While living on the family farm she met and married Clarence Krausz on March 4, 1956. In 1958 they moved to Miles City, MT. Janice worked for Holy Rosary Hospital working as a cook for 15 years. She then worked at the Friendship Villa for 10 more years until she retired.
Janice loved to cook, crochet, embroidering, traveling to Glendive to see her family until she was no longer able to travel and most of all her children and grandchildren.
Janice is survived by her husband of 54 years; children Kristy (Wesley) Green of Williston, ND; Denise (Jim) Linnell of Venus, TX; Kevin (Sheila) Krausz of Miles City; one sister, Lorraine Haggerty of Lindsay, MT; two brothers, Jack Eaton of Billings, MT and Jim Eaton of Covington, WA; 7 grandchildren, Crystal, Ryan and Nicole Green; Lindsey (Kevin) Hurst, James Linnell; Chance and Kimber Krausz, and 4 great-grandchildren, Braiden, Donoven and Weston Green, Analisa Hurst and one to be born in December 2010.She was preceeded in death by her parents, sisters, Ora Westrom, Francze Nordin, Pat Travis, Gayle Schaffel, Betty Huskinson, and brothers, Cecil Eaton, and Bob Colby.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 3 with the family to receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 4 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel of Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.
