Jason Bighorn Lone Buffalo 1971-2006
Jason Bighorn, age 35, of Brockton, MT went to be with the creator in the early morning of August 17, 2006 in Brockton, MT. Jason Lone Buffalo came into the world on April 22, 1971. The first born child of Fred and Helen Bighorn of Brockton, MT. He was a wonderful son, a loving brother, an adoring uncle, a helping nephew, an awesome cousin, and a great friend. Jason was always gentle, kind, loving and protective. Jason possessed calmness to himself, always joking, he lit up a room with his smile and could make any day brighter. Jason was always helping others. Without a second thought he would give the shirt off his back, and often did. During Jasons childhood, he was an Army brat who lived in Texas, Georgia, Germany, and Montana with his family. Two days after graduating from Poplar High School in 1992, he left for the military. He joined the Marines as a radio operator and an expert marksman shooter like his mentor, Uncle Bob Daniels Sr., who he had a special bond with. Jason was honorably discharged and later spent much of his time with his family.
Jason preferred to be outdoors rather than in. He could be found hiking, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed leatherworking, sewing, cooking and trying out new recipes from the cooking shows he watched on TV. He was a very talented cook! Jason was an avid craftsman, he enjoyed making knifes and listening to music. He was always prepared for everything and anything; he especially took extra care of his feet because he believed that your feet can take you anywhere. Jason was always willing to teach what he knew and enjoyed being around kids. He lived by the Boy Scout motto. He attended Fort Peck Community College for computer technology.
