A private family graveside service will be held in Highland Cemetery in Great Falls.
Jeanne Elizabeth (Young) Noyd, 49, of Colstrip, a homemaker died at her home last week of undetermined natural causes.
Jeanne is survived by her mother Laura Young of Cascade; brothers James (Carla) Young of Great Falls and Jeff (Peggy) Young of Kalispell; along with cousins, nephews and a niece.
Jeanne was born August 10, 1959 in Great Falls where she attended school. After high school she attended Montana State University in Bozeman where she earned in a B.S. degree in Home Economics. She belonged to the PI BETA PHI sorority while attending college. Following graduation she lived and worked in Billings. In 1991 she married Robert Noyd Jr. of Butte. They made their home in Colstrip where they worked and shared their time with their beloved retriever and lab, Boone and CeCe.Jeanne was a very caring and giving person to all. Her pets were like her children. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and traveling. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and friend and will be deeply missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Noyd Jr. and her father Robert Babe Young. Memorials are suggested to the Humane Society. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com .
