Jeffrey William Whitewolf was given his Cheyenne name Ma’ hah ko’e – “Badger” by his great grandmother Ella Tallbull. Jeffrey came into this world on December 8th, 2005 to his loving parents Joseph Bahr Jr & Alice Whitewolf in Billings, MT. & left us tragically on the early morning of February 6th, 2022 @ the age of 16.
Jeffrey was a very loving, kind person who was so full of life. Those that knew him knew that he loved the outdoors, loved spending time with his brothers fishing along the Tongue River all day long. He was a good big brother to the younger half of his siblings. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend/brother Deshawn Hart playing Xbox & spending a lot of time together.
Jeffrey attended school @ Ashland Public & LD Public school. He enjoyed all sports & playing basketball but his favorite was Football. His coach & mentor was the late Allen Fisher who he really looked up. Jeffrey had dreams to fulfill that were cut short. His family is so saddened & heartbroken that he has left us so young. We pray that one day Maheo will show us why things like this happen. As Cheyenne’s say there are no goodbyes BUT we will see you again! Jeffrey has gone on to the place where his great grandparents Alice & Joseph Whitewolf Sr., Ella Walkslast Tallbull & Robert Brien Sr, grandpas Joseph & Isadore Whitewolf, Joseph Bahr Sr, grandmas Arvelos Whitewolf, Joy Foote & other relatives Alison Bixby, Brodie, Terrence & Jerome have greeted him.
Survivors include his mother Alice of Billings,Mt, his father Joey Bahr Jr of LD, his siblings Cain & Casin Whitewolf, Jodeci Gion Whitewolf, Seth Whitewolf, Deshawn Hart, Jessica Bahr, Joey Bahr III, Chloe, Conrad Jr, Edwin, Kodi & Kammi Standingelk. Other siblings included Alexis, Carlynn, Clay & George Standingelk, Dakota Bahr & the late Ben & Bill Bahr. He is also survived by his sisters Rose, Roshanda, Raziriah “Zee” Redstar, Charmayne Old Elk & all his other brothers & sisters from Hardin & surrounding areas. Jeffrey was loved everywhere because of his kind & warm heart, his contagious smile & laughter & willingness to help.

Jeffrey is survived by numerous cousins to many to mention but you know who you are both on the Cheyenne & Crow sides.
Jeffery is a decendent of Hump Back woman a survivor of sandcreek massacre,as well as the families Beartusk, Blackhorse, Redwoman, Rowland, Shoulderblade, Yellownose, Tangledhair, Bearcomesout, Starvingbear, Harris, Strangeowl, Littlebird, Oldbear, Greeney, Flores, Lafranier, Lafever, Bolton, Brien, Littlewhirlwind, Whitedirt, Pine, Redcherries,Bigfoot, Barton, Blackbeard, Woodenlegs, Fox, Curley, Sherman, Bloor, Storm, Fisher, Wolfblack, Yellowrobe, Highpine, Americanhorse, Selage, Gray, Tallwhiteman, Redneck, Eagle, Whiteman.
