Jennifer Louise Goggles, age 53 passed away September 6, 2022 at her home in Fargo, ND.
The daughter of Inez Goggles and Kenneth Spotted Elk Sr. Jennifer Goggles was born at Crow Agency, MT on February 2, 1969. Jenni spent her childhood in Birney, MT. some of her most cherished memories were spent there as she would often reminisce about the times of riding horses with her sisters through the beautiful country and wishing that someday she could go back to ride again. From Birney, she would move to Lame Deer, MT. she would spend the rest of her childhood there before moving on in search of higher learning. In 1986 her educational endeavors would lead her to Salt Lake City, UT. Once there she would enroll into the Job Corps program and go on to earn her GED and baking license. Shortly after her completion at job Corps, she would move to Ft. Totten, ND. While there she would attain her carpentry certification and CDL from Cankdeska Cikana Community College. After her completion she would eventually make her way to Fargo, ND. It is in Fargo that she would settle in and make home while working there and in surrounding cities putting her carpentry and trucking skills to use, and she would soon add a welding certification to her list of achievements. This is a very short summary of Jennifer’s life up to this point.
Jenni was a very strong and hard-working woman who despite her illness kept her wit and humor to the very end. Even though she was very blunt and told It like it was, she had a big heart and would go out of her way to help those in need but now that she is gone know that she is back home, and she will forever live on in our memories. Jenni will be dearly missed by those close to her.

I’m sorry I never got acquainted with Jennifer. I knew her mother Inez, who went to the same church I attended in the late 60’s, and her dad Kenny (the boxer), who was my buddy. I’m sorry to hear that they’re both gone. Prayers for Jennifer’s loved ones during this sad time.
