Jennifer Rima True was born February 27, 1979 in Miles City, Montana to Charlie and Eloise (Nile) True.
She died on April 14, 2022 in a car accident due to icy roads in Musselshell County. She was 43.
Jennifer spent her early years in Terry and Forsyth. As a child, she enjoyed 4-H activities, dance, wrestling, playing football, twirling baton, rollerskating and, of course, passing those skills down to her younger cousins, Shara, Amy and Arica.
After graduating in 1998 from Forsyth High School, she married Chris Sadowsky, of Dickinson, North Dakota. The following year, their son, Ethan, arrived as Jennifer’s birthday present.
The couple later moved to Glendive to attend college. After their divorce, Jennifer married Jerry Mindt, of Glendive. She worked as a restaurant server and many of her customers became lifelong friends.
In 2014, her work took her to Great Falls, where she met her partner Andy Tothill. The couple worked at the same restaurant and had relocated to Hysham together last year.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Betty Nile, Charles True Sr. and Florence Marshall; her father, Charlie True; her uncle, Craig Nile and her nephew, Sterling True.
She is survived by her son, Ethan Sadowsky; mother, Eloise True; partner, Andy Tothill; brother, Larry True; her cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 310 N. 8th Ave., Forsyth. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, April 21 at p.m., also at Concordia Lutheran Church..

I will never forget the first time I met you. You were waiting tables at the Trail Star truck stop. I commented that you carried the orders like you should. That smile on your face was so bright. You were a wonderful waitress. You had the personality that made you that wonderful waitress. I was so shocked to hear of your passing. Rest In Peace Jennifer. Oh Jennifer-
We didn’t really know each other as adults, but man we had some fun times as little kids in Terry! I’m so sad to hear of your passing, it makes those childhood memories flood back. Driving with our moms in your moms Ford Escort hatchback.. us curled up laying in the back watching the sky and clouds and giggling. Not safe by todays standards, but a total 80s moment! You will be missed!!
