Jeremy James Red Dog Sr., 24 passed away on August 8, 2003 near Wolf Point as the result of drowning.
Jeremy was born on July 9, 1979 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Jeff Low Dog and Bernadine Red Dog.He grew up in Wolf Point and moved to Michigan in 1989 and attended schools there. His passion was the art of drawing. While in Michigan he was selected to the Institute of Pontiac Michigan, North American Continent Car Show in Detroit, Michigan.Jeremys hobbies included making necklaces and chokers, fishing, swimming, music and he loved watching his sons grow up.
He is survived by his wife, Christina L. Longtree; two sons, Jeremy Jr. and Nashon James of Wolf Point; his mother, Bernadine Gae (Lyle) Red Dog, and his fathers Jeffrey (Becky) Low Dog Sr. of Wolf Point; and John (Jan) Cappell of Royal Oak, Michigan; brothers, Matt Cappell of Royal Oak, Michigan, Alaric Low Dog, B.C. Low Dog, and Vaugh Morrison all of Wolf Point; one sister, Arienne Low Dog of Wolf Point; grandparents, Bessie Red Dog of Wolf Point, Eleanore Cappell of Royal Oak, Michigan, and Joe Low Dog Sr., of Wolf Point, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The wake will be held Sunday evening at W. P. Community Hall and services will be Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m. at Wolf Point Community Hall. Feast will follow. Interment will be in King Memorial Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
