Funeral Service:Saturday, May 15, 2010 11:00 a.m. at the Allen Rowland Gym in Lame Deer, MT
Burial: will follow in the Lame Deer Cemetery.
Jerome Michael Shoulderblade (Walking Hawk) (Meadowlark) (HONOXEASE), age 14, of Lame Deer, MT left this world on May 11, 2010 to be with the angels.
He was born January 2, 1996 in Tuba City, AZ the son of Contessa Shoulderblade. He was raised by Contessa Shoulderblade and Wayland Limpy Sr. in the Lame Deer area, Godfather Oscar Lalo of Polacca, AZ. Jerome attended school in Sansimon, AZ and Lame Deer, MT. He enjoyed basketball, football and hanging out with his buddies Torilee, Tyrell, T.J. , Derek, Dexter, Keanu and Sammy. And his special cruising buddies Auntie Jessie and Tanessa.Jerome was a caring and loving person always playing tricks on people. Jeromes favorite past time was on the computer on my space and playing XBOX 360 NBA2K. He was always laughing and always had a place to be. Jerome was due to graduate on May 25th, 2010 from Lame Deer Junior High. He enjoyed playing youth independent basketball and won 1st place several times and won hooded t-shirts.
He is preceded in death by his Great Grandfathers James Shoulderblade, Jerome Beartusk and Isaac Shoulderblade; his Grandfather Windy Shoulderblade Sr.; his Great Grandmothers, Jessie Hart, Nellie Beartusk; his Aunt Stephanie Currier and Uncle James Shoulderblade II; his cousin Robert Beartusk and his Great Grandparents Mary Cohoe and June Maria of Pine Hill, NM. Jerome is survived by his parents Contessa Shoulderblade and Wayland Limpy Sr. of Lame Deer, MT; his siblings Wayland Jr. and Kayland Limpy both of Lame Deer, MT; his Grandparents Jeanie and Vincent Whitecrane, Jessie Whitecrane and Eugene and Patricia Limpy; his Great Grandmothers Margaret Shoulderblade and Bertha Freeman both of Lame Deer; and his Grandma Marcie and Grandpa Larry Sr. and cousins Larry Beartusk Jr. and Dezbah Beartusk; Grandpa Marvin, Grandma Carla and cousins Lisa, Gina and their children; his Grandma Carolyn and Grandpa Jason and cousins Starlyn, Jason Jr., Aroscott and their children; his Grandma Darlene and Grandpa Mike and cousins Chuck Page, Mavis and their grandchildren. He is also survived by many many Aunties, Uncles, Cousins, friends and one significant other Tyanna Braided Hair.
