My thoughts and prayers go out to Jerry’s family and friends. I’ve known Jerry since he was six years old and I was five. His family lived across the street from my grandparents and he was friends with my brother. One of the highlights in coming home to Miles City was to have breakfast at the 600 and almost always Jerry would be there..

My siblings and I were blessed in our youth to have Jerry and Janice be our escorts for “Jaycee Shopping” several years for Christmas. It was a holiday highlight and something the “Rainey Kids” really looked forward to! We will never forget their kindness and always want to know how we were, even into adulthood. May the Meidinger family be comforted in this tender time of grieving with the fine heritage you come from!
