So shocked and sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. Thankful for our visit only a couple weeks ago. You guys were the best neighbors we ever had. Jerry helped me and loved to harass me at the same time, and I loved every minute of it! One of the most naturally gifted engineers around with the Rosencranz unique language to go with it. I have so many fun stories and memories, like so many others, I could write a book! Know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Casey Carnnia says
It took me 8 years to come across this page!
I met Mr. & Mrs. Rosencranz once at Rhonda’s graduation but my impression of them never faded.
Behind an artistic mask Hollywood people like Sam Elliott portray an archetype that struggles to have something in common with the like of Mr. Rosencranz in their core, I have always thought. At the tail end of a polit conversation about Florida’s heat I asked them for a life advise. I wasn’t expecting a profound answer. Most people take that opportunity to tell a joke–i.e., Don’t walk in the rain with a wooden umbrella. But they didn’t. Glancing at each other in way that I will never forget, he suppressed some sort of physical pain or discomfort that I contributed to their long journey and said: “Find a picture you love. Work to paint yourself in it.” May we all endeavor to endure that challenge.
Zakieh and I offer our belated condolences to the Rosencranz family and Rhonda especially.
