Jessica Nicole BauerWambdi Jusina Wiya"Little Eagle Woman"Jessica Nicole Bauer "Jessie B" passed away August 25, 2007 at North East Montana Hospital in Poplar.
She was born May 19, 1981 to Joseph Bauer and JoAnna Spotted Wolf in Poplar.Jessie lived a short time in California and Texas, but mostly grew up in Poplar. In her adolescent years she attended Circle of Nations boarding school in Wahpeton, North Dakota. She graduated from Poplar High School in 2000. While attending Poplar High School she loved and played basketball and volleyball. Jessie also attended college off and on throughout the years. She just enrolled at For Peck Community College for fall semester, 2007. Jessie married Billy Lindsay Sr. in 1998 and from this union they had three beautiful children, Loverty Jay (9), Billy Jr. (7) and Danny Dale (6). They later divorced. Jessie also gave birth to two more beautiful babies, Kelby Deshawn (2) and Juellz Jay (1) "Sugar Bear." Jessie was devoted to her children. She was a wonderful mother!
Jessie enjoyed spending her time with her children and her many friends. She enjoyed cruising around bassing out! She had a smile for everybody. Her home was open to everyone and she took care of the many that came through her door. Jessie always had stories to tell sitting around visiting her cousins and friends. Jessie was a kind-hearted and loving person.
Jessie loved to go to pow-wows. She enjoyed talking and text messaging on her phone to all her friends. She was a very happy person and surrounded herself with loved one's and would always have a good time. She loved telling jokes and making people laugh too. She always was there when someone needed a friend to talk to and give advice if she could. When in need she was willing to help in any way she could.
Jessie is survived by her 5 children, Loverty, Billy Jr. and Danny, of Wolf Point, Kelby of Frazer and Juellz J of Wolf Point. Her sisters Krista and special niece, Erica of Handford, CA, Melissa Jackson and daughter, Blaine of Poplar, Belle Starr of Poplar and Angel Bighorn of Brockton. Her brothers Dustin and Talon Bauer of Caruthersville, MO. Her parents Joseph (Elisha) Bauer of Caruthersville, MO and JoAnna (Loren) Spotted Wolf of Poplar. Her grandparents Sam (Ruby) Bauer of Wolf Point, Gloria "Coco" Buck of Havre, Vera and John Ironman of Poplar and Theodore "Butch" (Patty) Grandchamp Sr. of Frazer. Her Uncles Todd (Patti) Bauer, Ivan Roberts, Clarence Spotted Wolf, August "Jug" Spotted Wolf, Austin "Moose" Spotted Wolf, Ted Jr., John, George and Phillip Grandchamp. Her Aunties Linda (George) Dean, Agnes "Babygirl" Spotted Wolf, Neva (Robbie) Spotted Wolf, Lucinda (Rich) DeLeon and Dawn Dumont. And numerous cousins too many to mentionbut loved them all!
Jessie is preceded in death by her Uncle Lloyd Spotted Wolf and cousin Niki Dean.
Visitation will be Friday, August 31, from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel, Wolf Point and then at 5:30 pm at the Poplar Cultural Center. A Wake will be held Friday, August 31, 2007 at the Poplar Cultural Center with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. A funeral will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 1 at the Poplar Cultural Center. Interment will follow at Poplar City Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
