Joann Louise Reinhart (76) passed away on Monday July 30, 2018 in Red Lodge, Montana. She was a charismatic daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother that was loved, is missed, and will always be remembered. What follows may provide snippets of Joann’s amazing, if not at times chaotic, life, but what it fails to do is capture the spirit of this wonderfully wily woman.
Joann was born April 29th, 1942, in Sacramento California, the oldest child to Betty Jane Riddle and Alden Lundberg. She spent most of her childhood in the Bremerton, Washington area.
Joann had a passion for music and learned to play the piano and accordion. Her passion for music introduced her to her very first love, Elvis Presley. Joann married Steve Grubb and they spent some time stationed in Germany while Steve was in the army. Her son Steve was born after they returned to the states. A year later, her second son Darrell was born in the hallway of a Naval hospital which Joann took in stride and loved telling that story.
Joann then met the love of her life in Ray Reinhart and they were married February 1st, 1965. Joann and Ray had two daughters, Kelly and Tracy. Joann and Ray would eventually settle in Miles City to raise their family. They had many adventures as a family and made many happy memories during this time.
Joann always had an affinity towards animals and after Ray passed away in 1995, she opened herself up to loving as many animals as humanly possible.
Joann is survived by her two brothers, Ron and Allen, a stepmother Dina, her four children Steve (Melody) Reinhart, Darrell (Rhonda) Reinhart, Kelly (Brock) Campbell, and Tracy Lavelle. Joann has fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Joann’s life was full of familial love and we will all miss her terribly. Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Alden and Betty, her husband Ray, and a granddaughter Stephanie.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and the funeral to start at 12:00 p.m. at Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Condolences to the family may be sent by visiting www.stevensonandsons.com

I want to send my condolences to the Family. Loosing a dear loved one is never easy and it’s natural to feel a void or as if your heart is broken, I felt that myself when my mother died at such a young age, 57.
The comfort I received was from the scripture in John 5:28,29 the promise of the resurrection. The comfort of knowing there is going to be a resurrection was so wonderful!!
There is a short brochure at the web site jw.org entitled “When Someone you Love Dies” it has helped me and several others to cope. I hope you will take time to read because it too can bring you comfort.
Sincerely,
Ann
