Joesette Marrie (Loewen) Lindvold, 55, of Ramona, CA, and formerly of Miles City, MT, passed away on March 12, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Joesette was born on July 11, 1968, in Saint Paul, MN to Bonnie (Milligan) and Dale Loewen. In the early part of the 1970’s, the family relocated to Laurel, MT for about ten years, then moved to Miles City. It was in Miles City that Joesette would meet and marry her lifelong husband, Keith, and have her two sons, Christopher and Kendall.
Joesette worked many different jobs in Miles City before moving to Ramona, CA. Her hobbies included gardening, chatting with her friends, family, and coworkers, and spending time with Keith while watching football. But more than anything, Joesette loved her children and grandchildren, and was always very proud of them.
Joesette is survived by her husband, Keith Lindvold, of Miles City, MT, her mother, Bonnie Derenburger, of Forsyth, her sisters Beth of Huntley, and Danielle of Miles City, her brother, Matthew of Miles City, her sons Christopher (April) of Poulsbo, WA, Kendall (Samantha) of Ramona, CA, as well as her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her in laws, Donald & Shirley Lindvold, and her grandmothers, Dorothy Milligan and Carol Loewen.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joesette’s name to the VA Community Living Center in Miles City, c/o Recreational Therapy, 210 S. Winchester, Miles City, MT 59301.

I am so sorry about Josette. When I moved to Miles City at the age of 10, Josette was the first person in fifth grade to welcome me and be nice. I always loved her for her kind heart.

JOESETTE, WAS MORE TO ME THEN A SISTER IN LAW. I LOVED HER HUMOR AND SPUNK. LAST SUMMER WAS SPECIAL TIME WE HAD. WE LAUGHED, WATCHED MOVIES, ATE AND SPENT QUALITY TIME TOGETHER. MY BROTHERS WERE FISHING AND WE HELD DOWN THE FORT. JENNY ( MY OTHER SISTER IN LAW CAME OVER, WHO IS ALSO MORE THEN A SISTER IN LAW.) WE MADE FOOD, LAUGHED AND HAD A GOOD TIME. THOSE MEMORIES WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. IM GLAD GOD ALLOWED THIS SPECUAL TIME TOGETHER. DID NOT KNOW IT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME I WOULD SEE HER. I WAS INTRODUCED LATE INTO THE FAMILY, IT WILL ALWAYS BE SPECIAL HOW I CAME TO KNOW MY BROTHERS, SISTER AND I CONSIDER MY SISTER IN LAWS AS MY SISTERS AS WELL. WE ALL SHARED THE SAME FATHER. IN REALITY EVERYONE IN THE FAMILY DYNAMICS NEPHEWS, NIECES, COUSINS AND AUNTS AND UNCLES WE ALL SHARE THE SAME DNA WITH OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN! AMEN 🙏 REST IN PEACE JOESETTE, I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH. RIP

Keith and boys,
Joesette always was more of a sister than sister in law since she has been in our lives since she was 15. Her texts always made me smile. She never shared how bad she was but always upbeat. I just heard girls just want to have fun and thought of her. We shared a couple of bottles of Boone Farm Strawberry Hill wine and danced to the song. I wish were that young again. I remember the day you married my little brother as I stood beside you at the altar. I will miss you and love you always
Elaine Schieffer says
Keith, Christopher and Kendall – I am so sorry to read about Joesette’s death. There is never a good time to lose a wife or mother, but this is way too soon. I remember often hearing about “Mom” or “Joesette” in the long ago days. I just know how much she meant to all of you. I hope all the love she shared with you, and all the memories will give you comfort as you grieve. May those thoughts bring you a smile sometimes too! Thinking of you. Hugs to you all.
