John was a good guy. Was a year younger than me but we were friends. Hadn’t seen him for years until about 10 years ago I was in Arbys in MC and he came over and visited with me and my brother. We had a good talk about the old days in MC. R.I.P.

I’m so sorry to hear of John’s passing. Pat and I ran into John a few weeks ago outside Walmart and had a great visit with him. We visited about 20 minutes and it was so nice to see him. We’ll keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.

John was Junior Barnes to many of us. Good friend, former classmate, perfect gentleman. Junior High dances, summer rides listening to music. Great times remembered. Sorry to lose him. Enjoyed seeing him in Miles.

OMG!! Just talked with John the day after his birthday. We were great friends and did many crazy things together. Made it a point whenever we were back in MC to catch up and reminisce about the old timers and who was doing what. Damn I’ll miss him. Go with God Johnny and we’ll catch up on the other side. 😪
