John Delvin Glenmore was born April 3, 1970, to Ronald and Geneva Glenmore. He grew up in Busby Montana on the ranch and spent his time with his grandfather, Douglas, learning the cowboy ways and the arts of processing wild game. He attended Busby school until he graduated eighth grade. He then attended high school at St. Labre and graduated from Colstrip High School. He then went on to attend college at Salish and Kootenai.
John loved to hunt, fish, camp and go post and polling with the Michels, his uncles, and grandfather Matt. He went on to become employed as a bus driver for schools of Wyoming Indian High School, Lame Deer, and Northern Cheyenne Tribal school where he ended as a secretary. He worked for Project Morning Star. Later in life, he met Kim Rogers and together they made their home in Lame deer Montana and raised one son, Cruz Ty Hunter Lee Glenmore, daughters Jessica Rogers, Shireesa Man, and Shanteeca Rogers. John loved his only son wholeheartedly and they spent countless days and hours out in the woods hunting, fishing, and camping. He taught his son the fine arts of choosing the right game, the right time to kill, skinning and quartering. He was last talking about camping on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation with a group of young men someday. He loved to draw, paint, and create artwork on the computer as well as free hand. He completed one last piece for his Arapaho/Cheyenne grandson, which depicts his Indian name. He loved fishing with Ronnie Peppers, Ronald Little Axe, and William Peppers. His hunting buddies were Joel Brady, son Cruz Glenmore, his late Uncle Gilbert Buckskin, Marlin Burke, and the late Jason Fisher. There are many great things to say about John, but we will leave that to our treasured memories.

My heart breaks with all of u my family! It’s really true that our Creator God only takes the best. I know my brother John is more alive and whole than ever before. He was humble and full of love.
He always did so much for so many but always always wanted all the best he could for his son Cruz. I know if he could tell all of us one thing it would be to look out and do for his family, but especially for his son Cruz who I know without a doubt he loved with all his heart. Many strong prayers and good thoughts from Oklahoma. I’m honored to be a part of the Glenmore family and pray for all of my Glenmore family every day. God bless u all!

My first teaching job was in Busby, I was teaching math in the High School and John was in Jr High. He was given permission to take the high school math class, he was such a nice, smart young gentleman. Such a joy to have in class.
