Interment: will follow in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City.
John Helm, age 84, of Miles City passed away on March 8, 2007 at the Holy Rosary Heathcare Extended Care in Miles City.
John was born on March 26, 1922, the son of Johann and Eva (Schnieder) Helm on the family ranch in Garfield County. He attended Pure Water Country School as a young child and remained on the family farm until 1962. John moved out to Yellowstone Valley in Miles City where he farmed until 2002 when he moved into town to the Friendship Villa.
John is survived by his brother Gerhard (Pat) Helm of Tongue River and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johann and Eva and four brothers; George, Ted, Godfrey, William and two sisters; Anna Leidholdt and Eva Kalmbach.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City...
