On April 19, 2020 Our brother, Father earned his wings at the age of 49. John was born and raised in Billings, MT on March 22, 1971 to Beverly Fisher and John Maldonado.
John graduated from Senior High School in Billings Montana, he attended Chief Dull Knife College graduated in 2009 with an Associates in Arts Degree with an options in Business management. John never stopped there he then went on to Sheridan College for a Welding Certificate graduated from there in 2014.
John worked many jobs, S Bar S, Northern Cheyenne Utilities, Cheyenne Depot, Hitching Post, He was also very proud to call himself a Montana Indian Firefighter on the line and as camp crew, John also completed asbestos training & Rigging Training.
John would always greet you with a smile and made many friends throughout his life time here on earth.
John is survived by his wife Julie Eagle-Maldonado, his children Isaac Maldonado of Lame Deer, Corbin Fisher Maldonado of Lame Deer, Neveah Walker of Billings, Sammie & Thayon Maldonado, Destinee & Dymondrose Bravehawk of the family home, Handsome George of Billings, Maria Denny of Billings. His sister Jeanine (Jasent) Fisher- Stricker, Joi (Jimmy) Antone Garza, Jodi Antone, Rosalie Walker, Thelma Fisher Beaverheart, Donna Fisher, Shelly Fisher, Edie Adams, Nathel Show. Brothers Johnny A. Maldonado and David (Jami) Maldonado. Jimmie Lee Romero, Arlin Fisher, Allen (Sharon) Fisher, Virgil (Myra) Fisher, Sr., Vernon (Paula) Fisher, Sr., Steven (Martha) Fisher, Sr., Roy (Stephanie) Fisher, Eugene FIsher, Sr., Auntie, Geraldine Fisher, Uncles Tommy (Annette) Fisher, George Fisher, Francis (Doris) Fisher. Many nieces and nephews too numerous to name.
Special friends TJ Slivera, Antone Romero, Jason Layva and the rest of the Southside buddies.
John is Preceded in death by his parents, Beverly Fisher, Father John Maldonaldo, grandfather Jose F. Maldonado Brother Jamie Antone, Uncles David A. Mota, Daniel A Mota, Joe Maldonado, Aunties Ernestine Redcloud, Rosalie Fisher, Francine Fisher, Nita & Erma Fisher, Leslie Fisher, Nephew Allen Fisher,
Extended families include Fisher, Spang Harris, Maldonado, Lafranier, our family is very large please accept our apologies if we have missed you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. John was a dear friend of my dad whom we lost 23 years ago. John always had story’s of him and my dad to share with me. He was always so happy to see me to talk about my dad with me. He helped keep his memory alive for me. I’ll never forget him. His mother dated my uncle when I was a little girl so john has always been more like family than a friend. You will be greatly missed! Rest easy John.
