As a young man John enjoyed snowmobiling and bicycling. John always loved having a good time with his family and looked forward to his yearly trips to Deadwood, SD. He loved playing darts, hunting and spending time with his friends. John will always be remembered for his sense of humor, being a hard worker and giving a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

Buffalo Rapids Irrigation District No. 2 says
We are so sorry to hear that John is no longer with us. He was such a wonderful man and will be very much missed in the community. He played such an important role in Buffalo Rapids for almost 30 years. Without his work ethic and expert ability as a heavy equipment operator, Buffalo Rapids could not have accomplished what they have over the years. His quick wit and easy smile will be missed.
Eileen Williams-Dey says
I am so sorry to hear of the loss of John. I remember when he and Georgia played Santa and Mrs. Clause in 1995 for Steven and David, shortly after we first received them. He was so jolly and bouncing and gave the true meaning of Christmas and giving to the boys. He let them sit on his lap and was able to get them to smile and laugh. It will forever be etched in my memory of how kind he was and how happy he made two little boys. I felt such deep gratitude that they gave up part of their own Christmas Eve to be Santa and Mrs. Clause. My prayers and thoughts are with John’s family.

Sorry to hear about John, he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
John and I worked in the oil field, cut trees and worked for Buffalo Rapids together. He was always fun to work with, and we all partied with him (Just a little bit). Will miss all the good times we had.
Robin Weaver says
John will be missed by all that knew him, exspecialy is Daughters. I have to say he was one of my favorite Brother-in-Laws, he never had a bad word to say and was always jolly. I know that right now John, his brothers Jim and Lonnie and sisters Jackie and Lola as well as his Mom Mary and his Dad Jim Sr. are all together. They are probly looking down on us thinking don’t cry for me go have a beverage and Celebrate my life. Cause where they are there is no Pain, Illness, just life. So I want to offer the first toast to all our family up there, Rest in Peace and Boys keep your Jokes Clean. Love and miss you all.

My condolences for your loss of John Weaver – In the Bible at 2 Cor. 1:3 is says: ” Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation”. If we draw close to God in prayer, he promises to comfort and sustain us. It was not a part of Almighty God’s purpose for mankind to suffer and die. Many are comforted by hope in the resurrection (John 5:28, 29). We can look forward to seeing our dead loved ones again, including Mr. Weaver. I hope theses scriptural thoughts bring you comfort and hope.

Joanne Cowles says
My deepest sympathy for your loss. Looking at your family pictures, your John certainly looks like he loved life. Because of that, perhaps reading the promises that are in the Bible will be of great comfort. Revelation 21:3,4 tells us that in the future any pain, sorrow & even death will be done away with. Those that have lived will be brought back in a resurrection. (John 5:28,29)
While on earth Jesus Christ demonstrated his desire & ability to bring loved ones back to earth.
Until that time may you have comfort .
Marlene Clark says
My deepest condolences to John’s entire family. John and I were school classmates and, although I haven’t seen him since high school, I clearly remember the constant smile on his face and sharing laughs with him. It sounds like John remained true to himself over the years and stayed the good man he was in high school. May you find peace in the coming days, months, and years, as you miss his earthly presence.
Craig & Dea Hostetler says
