In Memory Of

John Wilbur

Military Graveside rites for John C. Wilbur of Gillette, Wyoming will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2003 at the Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Gillette, Wyoming with Chaplain Pat McCreery of the American Legion Post #42 officiating. The American Legion Post #42 Drill Team will preform full military rites.

John Wilbur passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2003 at the Campbell County Memorial Hospital in Gillette, Wyoming of natural causes. He was sixty-four years old.

John C. Wilbur was born on September 23, 1938 the oldest son of Lloyd and Dorothy (Anderson) Wilbur in Wisconsin.He attended rural schools, high school and college in Wisconsin and after graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving in the Korean War. John was honorably discharged from the service in May of 1962. He returned to college to finish his four-year degree in Biological Science. He married Kay Kady Cade on January 29, 1982 in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.John was employed with the State of Wisconsin as a game warden for most of his adult life. He retired ten years ago and moved to Gillette, Wyoming.

John is survived by his wife Kady Wilbur of Gillette, Wyoming, his three children, Forest, Mike and Brenda all residing in Wisconsin, one brother, Clint Wilbur and one sister, Nancy, and four grandchildren.

His parents preceded him in death.
