Interment: will follow at the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Frazer, MT.
Joseph Edmund Beston Jr. Junebug, age 44, of Wolf Point, MT passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at his residence in Wolf Point.
Joseph, the son of Joseph Edmund Beston Sr. and Sharelene Elizabeth Jackson, was born January 5, 1967 in Wolf Point. He attended school in Frazer, graduating high school in 1985. While in high school, he was involved in basketball, track, and cross country. He was also president of the student council during his senior year.After high school, Joseph enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. During his 2 years of service, he was stationed in Las Vegas, NV at the Lackland Air Force base area 2, Egypt and Honduras. Upon discharge he returned home to Frazer.In 1987, he married Patricia Talks Different, to this union three children were born; Tessa, Michael Beada, and Kourtney. Joseph and Patricia were later divorced in 2004. In 2006, Joseph and Elisha Tiny Talks Different were married and to this union came two children, Joseph III and Bailey, and two step children, Lori and Seth.Over the years, Joseph was employed by A&S Tribal Industries, and the Fort Peck Housing Authority doing plumbing, carpentry, and electric work.He enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to music and spending time with his children.
Joseph is survived by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Sharelene Beston of Frazer; brothers, Yancey (Marlene) Beston, Darrell (Janeen) Beston both of Frazer and Ryan Beston of Poplar; sister, Shannon Beston of Wolf Point; numerous nephews and neices; his first wife of 17 years, Patricia Talks Different and children, Tessa, Michael (Sunny), and Kourtney all of Frazer; his second wife, Elisha Beston and children Joseph III, Bailey Jo, Seth and Lori all of Wolf Point; grandchildren, BriAnna, Gabriel, and one on the way; aunts, Merle Clampitt, Susan (Henry) Laroque, Farrel Strahs, Bobbi (John) Doney, Rosie (Phillip) Smoker, and Roxy McDonald all of Frazer, and Sharon Delany of West Port, OR; uncle, Delbert Beston, of Dunseth, ND; and grandmother and godmother, Mary Hayes of Frazer.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilson and Josephine Jackson and Pete and Millie Conger Beston.
A wake will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 7, at the Oswego Community Hall in Oswego, MT. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, January 8 also at the Oswego Community Hall. Interment will follow at the St. Josephs Catholic Cemetery in Frazer. A traditional four day feast will follow interment at the Oswego Community Hall.
