To the Donley family,
I am sorry for your families loss in Joe’s passing, I will miss seeing him and visiting with him at the Rosebud Health Care Center when I go to visit.
I can’t help but smile, thinking of all the lush tomatoes and garden produce there will be in Heaven; with a master gardener like Joe, to help and oversee.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Joe Donley – I am sorry to hear of your loss. May you find comfort in many beautiful memories of Mr. Donley at this difficult time. The Bible gives us hope that soon the Creator will end all suffering, pain, and death. (Revelation 21:4) Also we have the hope of being with our loved ones who have been resurrected (John 5:28-29). The promise of Paradise, the perfect conditions God intended for mankind will be fulfilled (Ps. 37:11) including God’s “will being done as in Heaven also up on Earth “(Matt 6:9, 10). Please take the opportunity to continue to learn about the many comforting promises in the Bible. (John 17:3).

It will be more than a little bittersweet out in that tomato patch at RHCC with Joe’s passing. His genteel demeanor and interest in what was going on in life was a gift that kept him going. He was so proud of his family and often showed me photos of the younger ones. He will be missed by many. My heart is with each of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. Last time I was in Forsyth I had a good visit with him. I kidded about those square toed boots he was wearing. He will always have a warm spot in my heart.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

This man, who lived across the street from me during my childhood, was a dear friend. As a young girl sitting in his livingrom, Joe listened to my horse dreams as we pursued the stacks of Quater Horse Journals. Often I carried piles of magazines home to return a week later to chit chat and talk more about horses. He is an outstanding friend who helped shape my early life. What a long life! How many lives he touched. Peace and Blessings to the entire family.

To the Donley Family
I am sad to hear the passing of Joe, but what a great, long life he has lived. I was able to visit with him last Summer while in Forsyth and enjoyed talking with him, his memory was so sharp and we had a good chuckle. In earlier years, I remember going to Donley’s reservoir for fishing. Also when Judy, Joe & Fay’s daughter in law use to watch my son Michael, he would be over and Joe & Fay’s enjoying cookies. Great memories with a great family. Velma

To all Joe’s family,
Dad is sure going to miss his pinochle partner! They kept each other company over the last four years and we are forever grateful. Just a couple weeks ago Joe talked about a puppy I brought into the nursing home over a year ago-what a memory he had at 102! We will all miss him with his great stories and humor. May he rest in peace and prepare to join his lovely bride! Our thoughts and prayers are with you…
Love,
Frank, Julie, & Quade
