Joseph R. Medicine Top, age 52 went to be with the Lord on March 18, 2019. Joseph was born June 24, 1966 with twin sister Josephine Marion. Both of them were born in Crow Agency to Clarence and Agnes (Tall Whiteman) Medicine Top, all of Birney.
Joseph, the youngest of 14 children. Survivors include his adopted mother, Antonia Antelope, close friends, Clarence and Vanessa Behan of Wyoming; older brothers, Emmett and Adam Medicine Top; younger brother, Alden Brady Medicine Top; sisters, Stella Medicine Top, Mari Purella (Ron) and Elizabeth Hiwalker (Floyd).
Joe had the best of qualities, he was honest, kind, loving, respectful, giving, humble, very independent, and thankful. Joe was self-employed. He loved being a free man. Joe loved running long distance when he was younger, he always took first, no one could beat him. Joe was intelligent, it took his grandson four hours to beat him at chess. Joe loved all of his nieces, nephews, grandsons, grand-daughter’s and numerous other relatives. We know who we are.
Joe was married one time in 2008, just like now, Joe always surprised us and could make us smile and laugh.
We would like to thank all of Joe’s friends for always being there for him.

PRAYERS and CONDOLENCES
Daniel Sorbel says
I’m so sorry to hear about the loss of your dear loved one. It’s very comforting to know what the Bible says about ones we’ve lost in death. Verses like Acts 24:15 are an excellent example of this: “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Knowing God’s promise that we’ll be reunited with our loved ones who have died is a promise that I hold dear to me. (John 5:28, 29) I know God’s Word can bring you hope & comfort too.
