On Saturday, March 10, 2007, Juanita Jane Haynes, of Miles City and Sheridan, Wyoming, went to be with the Lord. She was born on June 6, 1916, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her parents were the Reverend William and Grace (Loyd) Boyles.

Her father was a pioneer minister and evangelist in the newly formed Assemblies of God. Juanita grew up in church, following her father to successive pastorates in Denver, Colorado, Thayer, Sullivan and Carthage, Missouri, Miles City, Montana and St. Paul, Minnesota. She was an accomplished church pianist and organist.

Juanita graduated from Custer County High School in 1936 and attended a business college in St. Paul. MN. In 1939, she married Orville Gilmore Haynes of Miles City. They had four children: Gary, Gordon, Robert and Deborah (King). She was a sixty-five year member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God in Miles City, serving for many years as church treasurer.Juanita is best-remembered for her kindness and gentleness of spirit. She was an exemplar of the biblical Wife of Noble Character. worth far more than rubies. She managed the affairs of her household, welcomed visitors into her home, was devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed entertaining in her home, baking and sewing. She was a member of the Trainman's Auxiliary. She cheered for her children and grandchildren in the sports of rodeo, football, track, volleyball, cheerleading and basketball, and followed the fortunes of the Cowboys and Cowgirls.To her grandchildren, she was lovingly called Mamo, a name given to her by her first grandchild, Kim. She taught her children the values of love and of family. She was a wise and faithful friend to her circle of acquaintances. At the close of her long life, her children rose and called her blessed.

Mrs. Haynes is survived by her brother, William, of Florida, her two sons, Gary and Beverly of Miles City, Bob and Melody of Miles City and her daughter Debbi of Sheridan, Wyoming. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orville: a son Gordon: son-in-law Bob King and a granddaughter Kimberly (Haynes)Otiko.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 16, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stevenson & Sons Funeral in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
