Leone was one of my favorite ladies ever, I enjoyed taking care of her especially because she always had the most amazing sense of humor! She will always be my favorite “crabby old lady” (she was never actually crabby but she loved this nickname she had given herself) I am sad to hear of her passing, she was someone I looked forward to seeing everyday and I will miss her! My condolences to the family and closer friends, Leone was an amazing gal.

To all of Leone’s family most heartfelt condolences. Grew up knowing Jack and Leone as they were friends of my parents, and they worked together for many years as charter members of the VFW along with many others. Such a dear lady who touched so many lives and she will truly be missed. Loved to see her and could always have a visit when we ran into each other…do some silly giggles too while we were at it. May you all hold your memories close.

Lynne and Jerry,
Your mother was a very special lady and I will always remember the Christmas presents that her and your dad would give to us kids. To this day I remember a Christmas gift of a bicycle license plate with our names. I immediately had to put it on my bike. Your parent’s gift was always the “best”, and one of the first ones us kids wanted to open. I am sure Jack and her are now dancing away as they start their eternal lives together. I send you my thoughts and prayers.

Leone will be missed! She was a firecracker for sure! We would watch Tennis matches when I was working at the Eagles, she usually picked the right match winner, in which I normally would lose. Am sorry to hear family for their loss, she is now with her heavenly family watching down on all of us! Her assignment was done here and she has gone home to receive her wings and wait for her next assignment! RIP Mrs. Leone, I will think of you next tennis match, wondering if you won this one to!

Linda Niedge says
Our sympathy to Leone’s family and friends. Mike and I had the good fortune of hiring Leone many years ago. She was just great fun to work with and always made me laugh!! One thing that was always clear to me was her great love for her boys and her grand babies. Through Leone, we also gained a friend in Jack, who for many years would be a daily visitor during lambing season, and randomly throughout the warm months. We all loved the stories from his childhood! They were both good people, and will be missed, May they rest in peace.

So sorry I couldn’t be there for the graveside but I am in Billings for a Dr. Appt. I sure will (and have) missed our talks and laughs (she would hut my arm when she said something and I would always go home with a sore arm, but it was all fun) Sorry I didn’t get to visit with family and I miss seeing you. Don’t know if Teal made it home but if she did I sure would like to have see her, also Page and her family. They are getting so big. Just wanted everyone to know I am thinking of you.

Love you Aunt Leone. You were always so kind and witty. Enjoyed all our visits. Say hi to mom for me ❤️
Lori Ostendorf (Kawulok) says
Our sympathies in the passing of Aunt Leone. I have many fond memories of her and Uncle Jack growing up. I loved visiting them in Miles City (and their dachshunds) with my mom and dad when I was little. They were both always so witty and funny! After losing my mom, Darrell and I took dad to see her in June of 2017, and it was like seeing mom again. They shared the same mannerisms, laughter, and smile. Your families are in our thoughts and prayers. Lori & Darrell
