Judy Ann Walker, age 63, of Miles City passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Judy was born in Terry, Montana on October 10, 1946 to Aaron and Emma (Speidel) Meidinger. She attended schools in Ismay, Kircher and Custer County District High School. Following graduation, she attended college in Billings and Miles City where she received her Registered Nursing Degree. Following her schooling, she worked at the Crow Agency Nursing Home, Pine Hills State School and the Friendship Villa in Miles City. On April 14, 1967 she married Bud Walker in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. They lived in Minneapolis for eight years before moving back to Miles City where they resided ever since. Judy worked at the Olive and the 600 Cafe. Judy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to play cards and bingo and spend time in her garden.
Judy is survived by her husband Bud of Miles City, MT; three sons: Ken Walker of Denver, CO; Troy Walker of Miles City, MT; and Travis Walker of Kalamazoo, MI; a daughter Kendra (Albert) Odei of Billings, MT; six brothers: Mervin (Dorothy) Meidinger of Miles City, MT; Leon Meidinger of Duluth, MN; Jerry (Janice) Meidinger of Miles City, MT; Ken (Diane) Meidinger of Miles City, MT; LeRoy (Lori) Meidinger of Miles City, MT; Clinton (Beva) Meidinger of Miles City, MT; three sisters: Daphine (Lyle) Fiechtner of Miles City, MT; Josephine Meidinger of Miles City, MT; and Cheryl Klang of Miles City, MT; three grandchildren: Megan, Nelson and Savanna Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Sharon Prince.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will be held at a later date in the Custer County Cemetery in Miles City. Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home of Miles City is in charge of the arrangements. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
