Julia Faye Whiteman-Maheonae (Holy Woman) entered this world on February 24, 1968, a daughter of Vicki Wounded and Frank Whiteman, Jr.

She grew up in the Lame Deer area and attended school at Lame Deer during her elementary years. Her high school years, she attended St.Labre, Colstrip and Intermountain Indian School, before leaving for Clearfield Job Corps in Clearfield, Utah taking up clerical training. She really enjoyed meeting people from all over and had lots of friends. She gave birth to 3 beautiful daughters that meant the world to her. LaKeisha Lynn, LaTrina Faye and Sharane LaFawn. Julia would put everything aside to make sure that her girls were well taken care of. She always welcomed people into her home, relatives or not. She would say sit down, are you hungry? Do you want something to drink? Even though the house was crowded, she would still make room for another. Julia had a big heart! She really liked making crafts, doing puzzles, riding bikes with her girls and spending time with her granddaughter, Amiyah who was the joy of her life. Julia had an open door policy to her nieces and nephews.

Julia was a praying woman and had a lot of faith in God. She learned at an early age to trust God in all things. She taught her girls to do the same. She really believed in family. She raised her girls with Gods help, after losing their father traumatically. Although she was very selective to choose a mate, she met and began a valuable relationship with the sparkle of her eye, Larry Rabbit Hiwalker. This began another chapter of her life. As Julia would say, one of the greatest gift I ever had came from GodI call him Rabbit. As her family became whole, she cherished every moment. Her children were still the focus of her life, along with her granddaughter Amiyah Her best days were spending time with Amiyah, teaching her how to do puzzles, and watching movies especially This Is It Michael Jackson video.

Grandma became her favorite word.
