June Marie Clifton, age 74, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2009 in Billings.June was born June 28, 1935 the daughter of Austin John and Marie Rebecca (Lecoe) Buckalew in Forsyth, MT.

She lived her life in California, Forsyth, Colstrip, Roundup, Ingomar and Hysham. She spent the last few years living in Billings.June cared for several children in Hysham and was very proud doing it. She loved to bake, fish, play cards and looking forward to spending time with family and friends for the holidays.

She was preceded in death by her husband Barney Clifton and her parents Austin and Marie Buckalew.

June is survived by her siblings Fred (Duke) Buckalew, Elverna Kleinknecht, Jane Macomber and Sandra Buckalew; her children Roy Clifton (Merri) of Hysham, Wilma Meidinger (Delmer) of Forsyth, Rose Cook (Donald Sonny) of Billings and Jake Clifton (Sheri) of Billings; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
