Oh I remember well how Mrs. Higgins, the Children’s Librarian, welcomed me over 40 years ago into her special area at the library. Such a warm greeting every visit, I always looked forward to seeing her there. And I could describe a book without remembering the title, and she could pull it for me right away – and never lost patience as I told her the story. I remember her well with utmost warmth – please accept my condolences.

I am so sorry to learn of June’s death. I was Reference Librarian at MCPL and worked with June from Oct 1987-until her retirement. We remained friends even after I moved to Idaho in 1987. I am so pleased that I was able to visit and have breakfast with her in June 2010 when I came back to Miles City for a visit. She is a special lady and helped me so much when she worked at the library and after she retired. I know you will all miss her. Linda
