Justin Schiller, age 32, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2008.
Justin was born on October 7, 1976 in Miles City, Montana, the son of Warren and Linda (Jagiello) Schiller. He attended schools in Miles City and graduated from Custer County District High School in 1995. Following graduation, he attended North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota. Following his schooling, he worked as a welder in Minnesota, Bozeman, Iraq and most recently in Miles City on the new water storage facility on Carbon Hill. While in high school, Justin was involved in wrestling and later helped coach Kyle and Bryce in AAU Wrestling. He was also involved in FFA and Tai Kwon Do while in school. He loved all children and had a special bond with his nephews, Kyle and Bryce. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing, mostly out fishing Ben Phipps on every outing. After each time fishing, they would prepare a fish fry for their friends and families. As a youth, he enjoyed spending time at the Schiller ranch on Beaver Creek which was a very special place to him and at his grandparents farm at Whitetail. As an adult, he enjoyed helping his extended families, the Ricks and Morgans, on their farms in Minnesota. As a welder, he created many works of art, some of which were displayed at the Custer County Art and Heritage Center.
Justin is survived by his parents, Warren and Linda Schiller of Miles City, MT; a brother, John (Arianne Bastain) Schiller of Bozeman, MT; his nephews Kyle Schiller of Bozeman, MT and Bryce Hirsch of Miles City, MT; his grandparents: Dorothy Todd Eaton of Miles City, MT; Corrinne Jagiello of Bozeman, MT; and Vera Schiller of Miles City, MT; his aunts and uncles: KayLynn (Jerry) Michels of Billings, MT; Wesley Schiller of Miles City, MT; Mary (Bill) Mac Farlane of Colstrip. MT; Alice Jagiello of Billings, MT; Betty (Gene Frey) Jagiello of Sheridan, WY; Susan Brown of Bozeman, MT; Carl Jageillo of Scobey, MT; Joyce Davis of Bozeman, MT; Stan Jagiello of North Carolina; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Allen Schiller and Carl Jagiello; and a friend, Billy Morgan.
Visitation will begin on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Interment will follow in the family lot of the Custer County Cemetery.
Should friends desire, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice or to Justins family for a scholarship fund to be established for his nephews, Kyle and Bryce.
