Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2006 at First Presbyterian Church in Poplar
Kae Spotted Bull went to be with our Lord on December 3, 2006.
She was born Kae Muriel Hanson on October 9, 1944 to Helmer and Elizabeth Hanson in Froid, MT. She moved to Poplar, MT in 1962 where she met her best friend in life, Harley Spotted Bull. They were married in January 1964. Through this union they had one daughter Sheila and two sons, Wayne and Allen.Kae made her home in Poplar. She worked for the Poplar Public Schools for 18 years. She also worked at various places in Poplar throughout her life. Some of these places included Bobs Market, Poplar Community Hospital and Nancys housekeeping.Kae enjoyed visiting with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing poker machines, cards and other competitive games. She loved gardening and doing things outdoors. Kae will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Survivors included her best friend; Harley Spotted Bull of Poplar, her children; Sheila Spotted Bull of Poplar, Wayne (Marlo) Spotted Bull of Fort Yates, ND, Allen (Jess) Spotted Bull of Poplar. Grandchildren; Randie (Tony) Shields, Rena Belton, Dusty Spotted Bull all of Poplar, Ellana Spotted Bull, Ryan Red Horn, Marilyn Fox, Hailey Bear Spotted Bull all of Fort Yates, ND. One great grandchild; Chloe Shields of Poplar, adopted grandchildren; Rosie and Truth Brown of Grand Forks, ND., Reese and Rikki Belton and Riley Marettek all of Poplar. One brother; Randall Hanson of Arlee, MT., three sisters; Irene (Vernie) Davison of Calloway, MN., Darlene (Earl) Berg of Laurel, MT., and Joyce Boos of Scobey, MT. She is preceded in death by her parents; Ray Hanson, Mervin Hanson and Kenny Madson.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2006 with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Poplar. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Poplar. Inurnment will take place at a later time.
