In Memory Of

Kammie Spang, age 24, of Muddy Creek

December 25, 1995 – December 14, 2020

Kammie Sue Spang “Háo’óóvá’e” (Stands in Timber Woman) 24, of Muddy Creek was taken unexpectedly from us on Monday, December 14, 2020. Born on December 25, 1995 to Nathan & Shawna Elkshoulder Swank. Kammie was named after her aunt, the late Kammie Sue Spang. She was known as Kammie doll by her grandma Aladine & also nicknamed Kammie Sosa by cousins. That’s what Skylar and your dad called you, always egging you guys on. Only one of the girls to hit a home run out of the back yard up Muddy Creek and not breaking a window. Sure in Hell gonna miss you. Kammie grew up in Muddy Creek with her family where she loved spending time with her grandpa & Grandma James & Aladine and all the cousins that were from the creek. Kammie had a smile that was beautiful just like her. She attended schools at Lame Deer elementary in her younger years. She then went on to the Northern Cheyenne Tribal school for her high school years where she played basketball and was known for her 3 point shots. Her grandparents loved to watch her play and was always sitting in the same spot to cheer on the Lady Eagles. Her and her sister Miranda were the same age for 14 days; they would call each other twins for those14 days. Her little sister Chelsey was always her caretaker of her 3 children. Kammie also was a caretaker for the Northern Cheyenne childcare program.
Kammie was a single parent and cherished the time she had with her children. When she became a mother with her daughter Taneya it changed her life and then came Willie Pete & Marcel who added more joy to her life. She loved being a mother & doing everything with her kids.
Kammie is survived by her 3 beautiful children Taneya & Leroy Brady Jr (also known as Willie Pete), & Marcel Littlesun, her parents, Nathan Spang & Shawna Swank (Duane Sr.) Grandparents Mary Ann Mason (Bill), Aladine Spang (late James Spang), Rebecca Elkshoulder (late George Elkshoulder); Sisters: Taylor, Miranda & Chelsey Spang; Brothers: Skyler, Kylan & Kash Spang; Aunties: Rita Hiwalker (Cedric), Denise Betancourt (Manuel), Ilene Spang (Joe), Christina Spang & Gail Longjaw; Uncles: Keith Elkshoulder Sr (Laverna), Shawn (Jodie), Stoney, Wacey, Cree, Trey (Delrae) Elkshoulder; Cousins: Riston, Shanice, Leticia, Jose, Julian, Cierra, Abigail, Kaylesha, Kobi, Makenzie, Sage, Shaydel, Trevor, Leo, Amber, Sam, Desmond, Diandra, Ambrielle, Manipi, Alias, Deira, Isabell, Tyla, Cody, Maryann,

Losing a loved one is never easy . Take time to grieve and find comfort in knowing that God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away. ” (Revelation 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My condolences to the family and friends. >Faith >Hope >Love &>Prayer >
