Rite of Committal: will follow in the family lot of the Calvary Cemetery
Karen Jean Donnelly, age 51, of Miles City passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Health Center in Miles City.
Karen was born in Miles City, Montana on July 11, 1956, the daughter of Albert and Esther Louise (Niles) Donnelly. She attended grade schools and graduated from Custer County High School in 1975. She worked as a nurses aide for a short time at the Friendship Villa. Due to her Cerebral Palsy, she was forced to quit working. She lived in Hamilton and Missoula for a few years before returning to Miles City where she lived at various group homes, the Clark Street Inn, The eagles Manor and then the Friendship Villa.
Karen loved to grow plants and bake brownies. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a devoted Kennedy fan. Karen was a breast cancer survivor and participated in Relay for Life.
Karen is survived by her parents, Al and Louise Donnelly of Miles City, MT; five brothers: Kevin (Lori) Donnelly of Miles City, MT; Brian (Laura) Donnelly of Miles City, MT; Conan (Jeannette) Donnelly of Miles City, MT; Daren (Annette) Donnelly of Missoula, MT; and Sean (Kelby) Donnelly of Great Falls, MT; a sister, Dianne Donnelly of Boston, MA; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a brother, Daniel.
