Visitation: Friday April 23, 2010 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm with family to receive friends from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City.

Funeral Service: Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 1:00pm at the VFW Hall in Jordan.

Burial: Family ranch next to her parents

Karin Ann Kountz, age 53, of Miles City formerly of Jordan passed away on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City.

Karin Ann Kountz was born July 24, 1956 in Miles City, MT to Anna (Kuehl) Kountz and Ted A. Kountz. The ranch near Van Norman was the ideal place to be raised. She enjoyed all the animals and her special border collie and the kitty cats. There were no dull moments with good neighbors, eight siblings and then numerous nieces and nephews spending as much time as they could.Karin was loved by all. There will be a good time in heaven with the dear parents she missed so. Downs Syndrome didn't slow her down.

Her survivors include her sister Marg Bickel; brothers Frank (Jill), Paul (Linda), Ron, Bill, Jim (Shar), and Jon as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her Aunts Alfretta Ofstedal and Eliese Diersen.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jerry and an infant sister.

Visitation will be held Friday April 23, 2010 from 10:00am to 5:00 pm with family to receive friends from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Funeral services will be held Saturday April 24, 2010 at 1:00pm at the VFW Hall in Jordan. A reception will follow the service and burial will then be held on the family ranch where Karin will be buried beside her parents.
