In Memory Of

Kash Angus Spang, Age 20, of Lame Deer

August 11, 2000 – December 10, 2020

Kash Angus Spang, (Ho’neohne’stoohe) Howling Wolf, blessed us with his presence on August 11, 2000. He was born in Crow Agency, MT to Brooke Bellrock and Wilmer Spang Jr.
Our very broken hearts were shattered even more when Kash left this world on December 10, 2020.
Kash was raised by his loving grandparents Wilmer and Erma Spang in Lame Deer, Mt and attended Lame Deer Public Schools from Kindergarten through high school, graduating with his friends and classmates as the Class of 2018. He then went on to attend classes through Chief Dull Knife College.
Kash was a Kids Kollege alumni and went on to work for Henry Thompson as a Kids Kollege Team Leader, the start of his employment career. He was also a security guard at the Charging Horse Casino.
Kash had an undying love for music, especially his guitars. While in school he played his part in the school band, rocking out with his friends at basketball games and the school concerts. He was an artist and had his own unique style. You could often find him in his room singing along with his old school jamz or rocking out with his buddies. He loved Lynard Skynard, Nirvana, Johnny Cash, Mom Jeans (Band), and many others. He also loved to target practice, and was an online gamer.
Kash was proceeded in death by his loving Papa, Wilmer D. Spang Sr. Also his maternal aunt Laureen (William Reed) Rockroads, paternal great grandparents Mary Wolftooth-Underwood and Harold Underwood and Mary Callsfirst-Spang and Alfonso Spang. Maternal grandfather Stanley Bellrock Jr.

Kash – You were a good friend and a dreamer, someone who spent a lot of time thinking and imagining. You had places you wanted to go, things you wanted to do. One time I went to hang out with you and I got lost (because being the veho I am, I don’t know Lame Deer) and I asked someone where you lived by referencing your last name, Spang. They said “Spangs live all over this valley!” But you were Kash Spang, who loved Neon Genesis Evangelion, wanted to go get Chickfila, and go see Salt Lake, Missoula, and Louisville. Your family is big and I know they are hurting in a big way from your loss, because you were special. I’m sorry to see you go my friend. Goodbye.

    Dolly Rockroads
Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your beloved Grandson. I remember when you were so helpful to me with my Katelyn Jean, and securing custody of her through the NC Tribal Court, you spoke often of Kash. Just know that you and all who loved him are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you all.

Closest student I’ve ever had. People shouldn’t rest until it is investigated what happened. Forgive me if it is known, but from what I’ve heard, it doesn’t add up.
