Katheren Jo Biery, 59, of Rosebud MT passed away in her sleep on March 13, 2013.
Kathy was born on January 26, 1954 in Farmington, New Mexico. She was the first of 2 twin girls born to Andrew Floyd and Jewel Louise (Byrd) Dobbs. She was the only child out of 8 to graduate from High school. Kathy graduated in 1973 and she was very proud of her accomplishment of graduating from Farmington High School in Farmington, New Mexico. Kathy was in foster care at a young age. She met Dale and the two went to Germany for a short time. When she came back from Germany she gave birth to a son who passed away shortly after birth. Kathy became a CNA and that is how she met Tom Evans. Kathy and Tom were married in 1975 and from this union there were two daughters born, Jennifer and Kimberley. Tom and Kathy divorced in 1985 and then she moved to Colstrip to be near to her foster family. Then she met Curtis (Bud) Biery and they were married on June 4, 1988.
Kathy became disabled in 1994 from Fibromyalgia and later from diabetes. She never let the disability stop her from taking family vacations, doing yard work, gardening and enjoying her flowers until in her later years when her pain reached a level that she could no longer do these things she loved to do. Kathy worked as a cook, CNA and also cleaned motel rooms to help support herself and her kids. She was very proud of her two beautiful daughters and especially proud of her 4 grandchildren.

Dear Family and Friends of Kathy Biery – Please be comforted by Bible promises at this difficult time. Continue to dwell on the happy memories and fine qualities that you remember about Mrs. Biery. Death and suffering was not part of God’s purpose for mankind. Everything that God created was “very good” (Genesis 1:31). Death came to mankind due to Adam’s sin (Genesis 2:17). Because of Jesus’ ransom sacrifice, hope of everlasting life is restored and death will be done away with (Revelation 21:4). Faith in these Bible promises and looking forward to the joy of again seeing Mrs. Biery in perfect conditions hopefully will ease the pain of loss. Meanwhile we have the opportunity to follow Jesus’ instruction to continue to take in Bible knowledge that leads to everlasting life (John 17:3).
