Katherine McGuire, age 84, of Miles City passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at the Holy Rosary Health Center.
Katherine was born to Leslie andBarbert J. (Kranz)Booen on September 16, 1920, in a cap in Bronx, New York. The cab driver, MoSchrevnitz, delivered her and then became her Godfather. She was home schooled and when she moved to Miles City, she received her GED. She then attended Business College in Dickinson, North Dakota. Katherine married Henry Eldon McGuire in May of 1941, in Forsyth, Montana. They had Eldon K. McGuire in August of 1942 in Miles City where they were ranching. Katherine worked at Safeway and at Holy Rosary Hospital in the cafeteria for twenty five years. She also worked at the Olive Hotel for nine years.
Katherine is survived by her son, Eldon Butch McGuire of Stonington, CT.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry Eldon McGuire, and a twin sister at birth.
Funeral services are pending at this time with Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City, Montana.
