Kathleen Ashton-Bowman, age 56 of Helena died Tuesday morning, June 8, 2010 at her home at Hunters Pointe.
Kathleen was born November 17, 1953 in Portland, Oregon and raised by Gay and Doug Ashton in Helena Montana.She received most of her education in Helena, at Carroll College with a Masters in Psychology. Her many careers included teen counseling, truck driving, waitressing, among many other things.She loved to be around people and had a wide variety of friends. She lived her life to the fullest.
She is survived by her mother, Gay Ashton, whom she lived with; her daughters, Katie May (Brian) Mangold, Kellie (Josh) Dean; son, Jamie Douglas Ashton; her grandkids, Tayson, Gavyn Tucker, Kayden, Charlotte and husband, Gary Bowman.
A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. at Hunters Pointe, 2801 Colonial Drive, Sunday, June13. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Anderson Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.stevensonandsons.com.
