It is with a very heavy heart that I post this. Kathryn was the best of the best! She leaves behind her children and friends who are all enriched by her ways! She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, Grandmother and friend to all she touched and she touched many. She is now at home with Dave and I’ll bet he had a thing or two to catch up on. Gone but will never be forgotten. Our love and prayers are with you at this sad time and if we can do anything to help you all through this know that we are only a phone call away! Hugs!

My sincere condolences to the family of Kathryn Huston – May you find comfort in your loving memories, beautiful pictures and in recalling the many talents of Mrs. Huston. Almighty God did not purpose that mankind suffer and die (Romans 5:12) and has promised that a time will come when no one will say “I am sick” (Isaiah 33:24) Our loving Creator has promised that even the prospect pain and death will be eliminated (Revelation 21:4). The Paradise that was originally promised for the earth in the Garden of Eden will be fulfilled causing God’s “will being done as in Heaven also upon Earth” (Matthew 6:9, 10). I hope you are comforted by Bible promises of a hopeful future (John 17:3 ).

My mother, Mary Haughian, and Kathryn were phone friends. They never did meet face to face, but had great visits about history and such. My mother passed away this spring, so I visited Kathryn at the Manor when I could and enjoyed talking to her. Kathryn will be missed.

To Kathryn’s family, She was one of the nicest ladies I have ever met. She made the best apple cake and I still have the recipe. However, it was always best the couple of times I went to her house years ago. God Bless all of her family with the memories you have of her.

Kathryn was a classy lady. I loved listening to her voice as she told stories and carefully selected her words. Her smile would light up a room. She brightened her corner of the world in her own quiet way. Hold the memories of the good times close. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Sam, Peg, & Families, You were blessed with a great mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. I and my family were blessed with a dearest friend, and the world was graced by a wonderful lady. As you know, my daughter is named after her; she was so much more than a friend to me. Always pleasant and cheerful even with her infirmities, I looked forward to speaking with her each time I was home, including the last time in September. How fortunate we all are to have known her. Please hold tight to all the good memories and know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time..
