She was raised in Wolf Point and attended schools there. She joined her sister Rachael as a student at the University of Montana in Missoula. She worked as a lifeguard at the Wolf Point city pool for three years and at Old Town Grill for four years. Kat really enjoyed her work and co-workers. She was very social and loved spending time with her friends.
