She was born June 16, 1927, the second of nine children to Tom and Halie Glenn in Brazil Indiana. In 1936, her family moved to Montana. She worked in 3 different Cafés in Miles City, which is where she met Harold (H. G.) Miller. They fell in love and were married on April 9, 1945 in Miles City. Two daughters, Marian and Edna, blessed their union, and they were blessed with 5 grandchildren: Dallas J. Sioux, Mike Schaible, Miles Sioux, Manda Thomas, and Marcy Erickson; 8 great grandchildren; Leighton Sioux, Tyrell Sioux, Shany Sioux, Brittney Erickson, Darrian Erickson, Ashley, Tristain, and Jearne Thomas, and Jacob Schaible.
She had 4 brothers; Thomas, Marvin, Charles, and Kenneth Glenn, 2 sisters; Deloris Trejo and Virginia Washsmith, and numerous nieces and nephews. Katie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband H. G.; 2 sisters Marcella Wing, and Donna Ryan; Grandson Michael J. Sioux; niece Linda Wing; and nephew Tom Johnson.
Katie loved her girls, grandkids and great grandbabies very much and missed them very much because she didn’t get to see them often. She also loved her cat, crocheting, flowers, playing cards at the nursing home, and Country and Gospel music. She had many real good friends and will be missed by them. She was a loving and caring lady to all. Her best friend Vera Lee was always there for her. Her special friends were Norma, Grace, and Stella. Be there and comfort your loved ones for life is too short.

Katie was so sweet and will be missed by many, I have doilies on my end tables that she crocheted , I think of her when I look at them, she was so nice to me, God bless her family, and friends that will miss her.

Marian and Mike, I saw where your mom has passed over. Her picture looks exactly like I remember her and that’s been a long while. A while after you lose your mom is usually a tough one. so take care of yourselves. I read something not long ago, something like, don’t remember me when I was at my worst. I remember her waiting for you at the door. Its a good memory for me. Take care. Hugs, Kitty Pugh
Cora and Randy Stennerson says
Katie an Harold were always with mom and dad. They bought my first prom shoes. I seen Katie at the yard sales in Forsyth a lot. She never changed, always stopped and talked to you to say hi. If I had to stay in town while in grade school I would go over to their house until I was picked up. Always received Christmas cards from Katie. She will be missed.
Connie Brown says
May Katie rest in peace, prayers to her family!
Roberta Roth says

Those were very good years. Those are good memories.
