Keith John Bement 51, of Ashland, MT was born on December 10, 1972, to James Bement and Annie Wooden Thigh.
Keith made his way to the Milky Way on April 19, 2024. He was a descendant of Chief Spotted Wolf; he was proud of his Northern Cheyenne culture. He enjoyed learning his language, reading Cheyenne history books, participating in ceremonies, and fasting. Keith was given the Indian name Holy Rock by a Canadian Medicine Man. The story that came with his name touched Keith’s heart.
On March 17, 1998, he married Rose Real Bird in Hardin, MT, from this union they raised four children whom he loved and cherished. He never missed a chance to watch his girls dance and was proud he was able to watch his son ride saddle bronc with the pros.
Keith was overjoyed at becoming a grandpa and never missed an opportunity to spend time with his babies as he affectionately called them.
Keith had many interests that included nature walks, fishing, putting together models, collecting toy memorabilia, and listening to Coast-to-Coast radio.
He is survived by his parents, his siblings; Jim (Sherri), Mike, Roseanna, and Myra (Virgil). His children; Mollie (Larry), Aubrey, Blair, and Korbin. His grandchildren; Hazelyn, Calais, Ryatt, and Ransom.
He had many nieces and nephews that he loved, along with his first cousins that were considered his siblings. Aunts; Clara and Theda and their families.
