Keith was born June 1, 1929 the son of Victor and Margaret (Angles) Milmine in Forsyth, MT. He attended school in Sanders, MT. Following his schooling, he worked on the family ranch. Due to health conditions he was deferred from the service; however he was able to keep the family ranch running while his two brothers served in WWII. He worked on the ranch with his father during this time and because of him they were able to keep the ranch in the family. Keith worked hard all his life on the family ranch that he truly loved.
He was a faithful supporter of the Presbyterian Church in Hysham, MT. Keith was a full partner in the Milmine Ranch Partnership along with Lee, Waine, Don and his brother Jack. He was a member of the Stock Growers Association, NRA and Farm Bureau. Keith enjoyed reading, playing cards, relaxing at rare times but most of all enjoyed his work on the ranch.
He was preceded in death by his parents Victor and Margaret Milmine; his siblings, Don Milmine, Jack Milmine, Jim Pearson, Ted Pearson, Jean Milmine, Margaret DeCock and Ruby Berdan.
Keith is survived by his sister Betty Olson of Sheridan, WY; his sister-in-law Betty Milmine of Sanders, MT; his nephews, Waine (Sharon) Milmine of Sanders, MT, Lee (Angie) Milmine of Sanders, MT, Don (Debbie) Milmine of Billings, MT, Rick (Ivy) Wetsch of Lincoln, NE, Ron (Joy) Wetsch of Drummond, MT; Jim (Richelle) DeCock of Hysham, Bob (Sharon) DeCock of Hysham, MT, Gary ( Ginger) DeCock of Hysham, MT; his nieces, Pauline "Punky" (Ray) Zastoupil of Forsyth, MT, Marion (Jack) Larson of Miles City, MT, Donna (Alan) Cope of Sheridan, WY, Marlene (Jack) Sumdt of Missoula, MT and Helen Pennix of Pittsburg, PA; and numerous great and great great nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Rosebud Foundation, bath tub fund, P.O. Box 500, Forsyth, MT 59327. The family would also like to give special thanks to the Rosebud Health Care Center staff for their loving care.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT. Funeral Service will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home in Forsyth, MT. Burial will follow in the family plot of the Forsyth Cemetery.
