My heart is saddened. We served as field artillery surveyors for the 8th field artillery 25th infantry division through the 1970s. He was my best friend. Many fond memories. So sad. Rest in peace my friend.

Well I guess you are/were my uncle. George is/was my Dad. You are both gone now unfortunately 😕 This is year 2025. I didnt really know you but I knew OF you! From reading this obituary it sounds like you accomplished some pretty amazing things! Im proud of you and sad all at the same time that I didn’t get to the chance to know you, or maybe that you didn’t ever reach out to know me, idk? I’m sure you know my dad has passed as well.. didn’t really know him all that well either sooo that’s probably why I didnt know YOU I’m assuming.. I kinda sorta knew your mom/my supposed gramma.. met her a few times when i was little and then never heard from her again while growing up either.. I always wonder, why, that side of my “family” never cared to know me? It’s weird.. my only explanation of it all is i guess life just gets busy and then you……. 💔 Catch you on the other side, later days ❤️
