To my dad. I know things were tough on our family for the last 11 years but I want you to know you were and are loved. Good memories fill my heart.
You were a hard worker and did what you had to to take care of us. You were a man of conviction. Something you passed down to your children to hold steady to our heart.
From fuzzy chocolate milk in the mornings before work to building playhouses you made childhood memories for us that can never be forgotten. Taking rides from airplanes to motorcycles. The trips to see mountains and oceans. The man that made those memories for us will never be forgotten.
Today I want to say that even though your passing has been hard it is a relief for those who love you to know that you are no longer in pain and sick. You have found some peace. I have always and will forever love you even when you have thought I did not.

My Deepest sympathy to Nan and Kenny’s family. What a great man and such a bright spot in my life. I will never forget his humor and the happy times we shared. Say hello and give my love to Bonnie when you arrive in heaven my friend!

Mr. Benjamin,
Although we never met I feel as though we did, you see a piece of your puzzle is also pieces of mine. I fell in love with your grandson and we had two of your great-grandsons. Mike often talked about you, all the good things you taught him. He would explain to his sons what you accomplished in your life time. He was proud of those things. He also knows things got hard for you, he knows the fiddle played is a fiddle given, You would be so proud of the man he is becoming, he works hard and loves harder. Often he says “ grandpa taught me this” to his sons. We pray you have found peace, and are no longer hurting. Prayers to everyone who has felt the exit of Mr. Benjamin ❤️

Kenney as we look back over time we find ourselves wondering ….. did we remember to thank you enough for all you have done for the “Benjamin Family”. For all the times you were by my side to share the memories of going to ND Stanton High School together as not only my cousin but friend. For all the times you made the long trip back from Montana to North Dakota just to help celebrate “Benjamin Family” surprise Birthday parties or the passing of precious Aunts and Uncles. Or for teaching us by your example: the value of hard work, good judgement, courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you for the sacrifices you made. And for the simple things like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.
Kenny is with God now, and as God is with us each day so is Kenney. God speed my Cousin.
Our deepest sympathy to Kenney’s five children Sheryl, Tammy, Misty, Russel and Loree‘; and his sisters Janet and Jean. You are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

Kenney and I first met in 2002 when I started to update the Benjamin Birthday Book from 1960. We met again three years later at the Wes Benjamin family reunion at Miles City. Kenney was very gracious to me, talking about the family and showing me the model of a coal derrick he built using scrap materials he had or found. I remember it to be about three feet long, and quite detailed. The boom was amazingly intricate with all the reinforcing pieces connecting to each other. I do not remember if he told me how long it took to build, but it was no overnight job.
I am saddened to hear of his passing, and pray for God to comfort and strengthen the family.

Dad passed and I wasn’t ready. All the memories we had together. I didn’t get to see him due to covid but we talked. My dad did so many things for us. He will be missed forever. Dad was and is my hero. I was a daddy’s girl.
