Kenneth Mark Booth passed away September 30, 2006 at Northeast Montana Health Services in Wolf Point. He was born August 19, 1959 to Everett and Dorothy Booth in Poplar.
Ken grew up in Poplar and graduated from Poplar High School in 1977. While attending Poplar High School he loved and played basketball and football. He married Dannette Johnson in 1979 and they had two beautiful girls, Carrie and Michelle, whom Kenny loved dearly. They divorced in 1983. He was married to Diane Granbois from 1995 to 1997. Kenny worked for many years as a cook at the Poplar Community Hospital which he enjoyed very much. He also worked as a truck driver. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. The past several years he worked for Marvin Teel as a handy man at the El Rancho Motel. Kenny loved his family and friends. He always had a smile and hug for his friends and family.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; one brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Booth of Jersey City, NJ and Michelle Tarr of Spokane, WA; grandson Kyle Grutkowski of Jersey City, NJ; sister Glenda (Robert) Moran of Laurel; his favorite aunt Beryl and uncle Robert Jardison of Moosejaw, Canada; and adopted sisters Linda Meyers of Newtown, ND and Lucy Redekopp of Wolf Point; adopted brothers Larry Martin and Joey Espinoda, both of Wolf Point; and many cousins, uncles and aunties.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 from noon to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 5 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Poplar with interment in Poplar City Cemetery.
